Pip is doing another Granny A Day this year and I’m sort of participating. It’s maybe not quite a granny a day, or even every other day, since I’m busy with school and kiddos and lots of other fun stuff, but I’m trying! It would be neat to finish an afghan over the summer so I could have it next fall when it gets chilly out again. I bought lots of yarn to do an afghan from Crocheted Afghans: 25 Throws, Wraps, and Blankets to Crochet last spring but never quite got around to starting it until just now.
So far I can probably keep a foot warm:
The pattern I’m following is small squares of two different flower grannies. The idea is to use different color combinations for each flower and crochet a border around the flowers with the same color yarn.
This one is my favorite so far:
Aren’t they cute all stacked up?
So thanks, Pip, for the inspiration to get moving on this! =)
